Ingredients
1 lb fresh strawberries (washed and completely dried)
8 oz chocolate (dark, milk, or white)
1 tsp coconut oil or butter (optional, helps chocolate set smoother)
Parchment paper for tray
Optional toppings: crushed nuts, shredded coconut, sprinkles, extra melted chocolate for drizzle
Instructions
1. Wash strawberries and dry thoroughly with paper towels.
2. Melt chocolate and coconut oil in microwave-safe bowl in 20-second bursts until smooth.
3. Dip each strawberry in melted chocolate, letting excess drip off.
4. Place dipped strawberries on parchment-lined tray.
5. Add toppings (nuts, coconut, sprinkles) while chocolate is still wet.
6. Freeze for at least 30 minutes, or until firm.
7. Transfer to airtight freezer bag or container for up to 2 weeks.
Notes
Strawberries must be completely dry or chocolate won’t stick.
For best texture, enjoy within 1 week.
Don’t leave out too long condensation can soften chocolate.
For healthier version, use dark chocolate and avoid extra toppings.
